About the Role:

As Senior Social Media Manager, you will manage the content planning, creation, curation, story ideation, and direct fan communication for the Hers social handles. You will work with key digital platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc., as well as seek out emerging platforms that can help us grow our customer base and brand. In addition to maintaining the health of the existing social channels, the Senior Social Media Manager will also help drive our expansion onto new platforms, such as Reddit and YouTube. Success in this role requires a passion for social media, an aptitude for measurement and performance monitoring, excellent project management skills, a keen eye for compelling and innovative content, and a passion for continuous improvement. Skills in shooting and editing video or illustration and design are a major plus. This role is remote and will report to the Director of Content.

You Will:

Manage the day-to-day messaging, monitoring, and moderation of assigned Hers social media channels
Track the performance of social media campaigns, content, and overall health of the assigned social handles with regular reporting to the Director of Content and other marketing stakeholders
Partner with dedicated Creative resources to build an engaging and dynamic social media presence across channels
Work closely with the Art Director of Social Video to create scripts/content that will result in the growth of the Hims & Hers TikTok channels
Partner with industry leaders and medical experts to create content for the Hims & Hers social channels
Edit copy for the Hers and Hims social media channels, as assigned
Drive strategy for Hims & Hers' expansion onto new and emerging social platforms
Be the liaison for social channels internally and externally, with paid social teams and social media platforms
Continuously update social content calendars and copy logs
Partner with our Community Coordinators to help source UGC for the social feeds, as well as specific projects like advertisements, marketing materials, product launches, etc.
Work cross-functionally with multiple branches of the company (marketing, paid acquisition, communications, etc) to ensure that we are fulfilling their social needs
Manage other social editors and contractors as needed
Have a pulse on who our customers are and who they would most likely follow, trust, and buy from in the social space

You Have:

5-7 years of related experience in social media/community management
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, English, Media Studies, or a related field
Experience building and sharing brand messaging
Experience working with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc. and an understanding of their analytics/insights, ideally at a brand or media company.
Experience shooting and editing video a major plus
Experience creating illustrated graphics a major plus
Passion for storytelling, listening to what the community has to say, and providing engaging experiences in the social space
The ability to work independently on a project.
Strong project/time-management skills, and the ability to multitask between a mix of short-term and long-term projects, involving multiple teams
Adaptable, quick learner with an eye for details and impeccable communication skills who can work seamlessly in a highly collaborative environment
Equal parts analytical and creative; owning projects from conceptualization to analysis fueled by data-driven decisions with a desire to try whatever is new
Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous improvement
Last but not least: a sense of humor, patience, and a positive attitude
