What are you waiting for?!?!
Here is your opportunity of a lifetime: The Savannah Bananas and Fans First Entertainment are adding up to four full-time people to their roster of iconic Broadcast Entertainers.
Rocket fuel for your career
When Biko Skalla joined the Savannah Bananas and Fans First Entertainment as their first Broadcast Entertainer, they were a summer collegiate team playing in relative anonymity in the Coastal Plain League. Four short years later, the Bananas are an international phenomenon. They're playing their Banana Ball creation in Major League Baseball stadiums, and Biko's broadcasts have aired on ESPN, TruTV, TNT, FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports) and YouTube.
In Drake Toll’s first season as Broadcast Entertainer for Banana Ball's Party Animals, he met Roger Clemens. Will Clark, John Cena and Livvy Dunne. He broadcasted in Fenway Park, Minute Maid Park and other MLB stadiums. Drake quickly became so recognizable in his trademark fur coat and aviator shades that kids around Savannah dressed as him for Halloween.
The Bananas want you to become a star. Being part of the Bananas organization is like pouring rocket fuel on your career. And massive plans for even greater things are in the works. Details in the coming months. For now, know the Bananas are adding teams for 2025 and debuting the Banana Ball Championship League in ‘26.
The Bananas organization is extraordinary. If you are extraordinary, too, there might be a place for you on their broadcast team. You gotta be great, though. You have to be different. Larger than life. Iconic. Can’t miss. We’re looking for a beer and barbecue guy or gal — the kind of person we want to hang out with and who is going to further our culture.
The search for extraordinary
Bananas Broadcast Entertainers are multimedia entertainers. You must excel at being three things:
1. Writer (Think WWE writer, write storylines, promo cuts, one liners)
2. Storyteller (Must build and develop stories that matter to fans who don’t like sports)
3. Hype Artist (Must know how to build hype around moments and players)
A Banana Ball Broadcaster must have the ability to write the most compelling stories about our players, teams and the game of Banana Ball. They can tell stories in unique ways based on research with players and key people in the organization. They can also create new storylines that get fans to care even more about the players and the matchups. Why are we rooting for this player to succeed? Why does this team winning matter? The key is to answer these questions as if you are not a fan already invested. You need to write storylines to care for the average person.
Key success metrics

- How many epic and iconic moments can we create from each show with spot on calls that are repeated and shared by fans?

We will bring back and reimagine the epic, never before seen pre and post-game interviews. How can you come up with and create over-the-top ways of interviewing players and coaches that might go viral?
To apply
We are looking for exceptional; the application process reflects that.
What we request of you:
- Write and perform a monologue building a star or stars and pregame storylines.
- Build up a match-up pitcher vs hitter, WWE style.
- Call some of the best Banana Ball highlights with new one liners that are catchy, unique and over the top.
- 3 post-game interview ideas that are crazy and over the top/never before done.
