106.3 Jet FM North Bay - Summer Cruiser
Spend your weekends in North Bay at the best events, representing 106.3 FM North Bay! We are gearing up for another summer with our cruiser program and we are looking for an outgoing, reliable, organized member to represent the station and its clients!
Job Summary
- Position runs May to Sept 2025
- Responsible for the promotion of 106.3 Jet FM & sponsors in our communities of service
- Compiling a calendar of pertinent events for our listeners and public appearances at as many of those events as possible
- Photograph events and attendees to post for our social media platforms with proper spelling and grammar
- record 'cut-in's' using station technology to promote the events to our listeners
- Liaise with the Sales, Promotions and Programming departments to ensure maximum exposure at events deemed to be of special note
- Compiling a log of events, folder of pictures/videos/audio that can be used to write a year-end report to be submitted to the cruiser sponsors
- Management of promotional items inventory for distribution throughout the 3 month period
Job Requirements
- Outgoing personality and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Available every weekend (including long weekends) from Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day weekend
- Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is based on team & individual effort
- A valid G driver's license in Ontario
- Be insurable and have a clean driver’s abstract
- A positive, friendly manner
- A working knowledge of Microsoft O365, including One Drive, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint is valuable
