Job Summary/Description:
Raycom Sports is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Content Coordinator to join our Digital Network team. This role plays a key part in executing daily content strategies across our college sports platforms, including linear channels, FAST channels, and VOD outlets. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, be passionate about college sports, and demonstrate a strong understanding of digital video publishing and content optimization.
This position requires work on evenings and weekends in accordance with the college sports calendar.
Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
* Curate, ingest, publish, and schedule short- and long-form video content across FAST, VOD, and linear platforms.
* Optimize content performance on YouTube and other digital distribution points through strategic titling, thumbnails, metadata, and scheduling.
* Monitor and analyze viewership data to inform programming decisions and improve audience engagement.
* Review and resolve content issues as communicated by partner platforms in our content creation and distribution stack.
* Collaborate across departments and with external partners to execute content initiatives aligned with broader network goals.
* Maintain detailed documentation of workflows, programming schedules, and rights usage.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
* Experience publishing sports video content on platforms like YouTube, social video, and/or FAST channels.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* Deep knowledge of college sports and a strong grasp of the broader college and professional sports landscape.
* Familiarity with video editing, graphics, and publishing tools; proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects is a plus.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and file organization systems.
* Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
* Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience in sports media, content scheduling, or digital video production.
* Understanding of FAST channel operations and digital content monetization strategies.
* Creative mindset with a passion for developing new ideas, series, and storytelling approaches.
* Ability to adapt and make quick decisions under pressure.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
* Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; use of hands and fingers for computer and phone operation.
* Ability to lift up to 20 pounds of equipment as needed.
* Occasional physical activity such as bending or kneeling for content setup.
* Able to work in both office and home environments with moderate noise levels.
* Must be available to work non-business hours, including nights and weekends, for live events or content needs.
