Job Summary/Description:
The Gray Media Training Center offers hands-on training to prepare participants for professional careers in local broadcasting and digital media. The program covers key areas such as news, marketing, production, engineering, technology, and multimedia sales. This is a paid, part-time, temporary internship.
Join the Gray Media Training Center Internship Program and immerse yourself in a hands-on learning environment as a key member of our acclaimed digital and broadcast team at WLBT-TV. Program participants will gain practical, hands-on experience in essential areas of news, marketing, production, engineering, and multimedia sales. As a fellow of the Gray Media Training Center, participants will have the unique opportunity to create a public affairs show each semester, overseeing every aspect from shooting and editing to producing, directing, and hosting. This is a paid, part-time, temporary internship.

Qualifications:
- Candidates should be juniors or seniors at an accredited university or college in Mississippi, maintaining a strong academic record and possessing a recommendation from their dean or internship coordinator.
- Candidates must exhibit a strong work ethic, effective time management, and exceptional professional and organizational skills.
- Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Journalism/Communications, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields, with a keen interest in gaining hands-on experience in the local media industry.
