Position Overview
Cumulus Media | Westwood One (New York, NY) is looking for a full-time
Research Analyst. The full-time Research Analyst reports directly to the Manager, Ad Sales Research, and will work closely with several departments within Westwood One including Ad Sales, Sales Planning, Business Operations, Marketing and Insights. The analyst will work individually and with team members to effectively gather and position analysis supporting Ad Sales in developing/growing advertising investment among new and returning clients. This position is considered a hybrid remote position.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Compile and analyze quantitative and qualitative ad-hoc research support for Ad Sales, Programming and Affiliate Distribution.
- Develop insights-driven analyses and reports that communicate complex data in clear, action-focused manner.
- Create and stylize support materials for Ad Sales and Planning.
- Proactively brainstorm and problem-solve when approaching sales positioning needs
- Assist other research team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Media, Communication or other related field required.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a research or analysis role at a radio network, other media, agency, or advertiser preferred.
- Experience conducting primary research is a huge plus.
- Desire to provide value to projects through insights and analysis of key client’s business issues.
- Demonstrates passion for analysis through work experience, internship or academic work.
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to adapt to and apply expanding research tools and platforms.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinker.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software programs (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is extremely helpful.
Pay Range
USD $44,982.00 - USD $56,228.00 /Yr.
