Alpha Media is seeking a forward-thinking
Content Director to oversee a portion of our
Amarillo, TX, cluster. This is your chance to create and operate a station in a market where local matters and where your leadership will be felt on the airwaves, online, and in the community.
You will drive programming strategy, have a strong on-air presence, and serve a culture built on

What You Will Do:
- Lead with Creativity – Shape and execute the vision of a strong Amarillo brand. You will bring fresh, strategic ideas to life across content, imaging, and listener experience on-air, online, and on the ground.
- Build Deep Connection – Use your talent and your leadership to create strong ties with listeners and advertisers. Work as a team with all staff members and staff of the other three stations.
- Own the Digital Experience – Oversee the digital presence for the station, including websites, social platforms, apps, smart speakers, and streaming. Every touchpoint should extend the brand and deepen engagement.
- Mentor and Elevate Talent – Grow a team of on-air stars through coaching, clear feedback, and a collaborative creative environment.
- Collaborate with Sales – Help craft promotional and content strategies that resonate with listeners and deliver for advertisers.
- Program with Purpose – Use research, data, and instinct to make smart programming decisions that grow both audience and impact.
- Be Hands-On. Be Heard. – This is not a desk job. You will be on the air, in the trenches, and fully embedded in the station you lead.
What You Bring:
- On-air chops and a natural ability to lead from the studio as well as the office.
- Deep knowledge of music scheduling, automation systems, imaging, and production workflows.
