Our character is a Māori woman in her 70s, a kaitiaki with deep cultural knowledge.
We're looking for someone with a deep, weathered voice carrying quiet power, naturally measured with ancient wisdom. A tired but strong spirit that shines through in every word.
Ideally we are looking for someone with genuine Māori whakapapa who is currently based in Aotearoa or has strong ties to New Zealand, having lived here for a large portion of their life. This role represents cultural guardianship and wisdom, and we want to portray this as authentically as possible.
