Description:Albion College invites applications for the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Communications position. The Assistant AD for Sports Communications, in conjunction with the Director of Athletics, is responsible for the development and promotion of Albion College athletics in a way that advances and supports the mission of Albion College and the athletic department . This position will plan and implement a proactive, coordinated sports media relations program with emphasis on establishing and cultivating relationships with print, broadcast, and online media. As well as, provide updated statistics and game information for the NCAA and MIAA in sports as selected by the MIAA's Director of Information Services..In addition, the Assistant AD for Sport Communications will maintain the Albion College athletics website (gobrits.com) and maintain other electronic communications, including social media, with external audiences. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. Must contribute to a campus climate that emphasizes a commitment to working with individuals and groups from a variety of identities, cultures and backgrounds.
