Sinclair is seeking a News Videographer for various locations.
Looking for a creative full-time News Videographer! We are seeking someone who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories.
Responsibilities will include:
- Editing and shooting general assignment stories, multiple lives shots, and natural sound packages
- Shooting and editing day-to-day general assignment stories, in-depth features and investigative assignments, as well as shooting live shots
- Exceptional video editing skills on non-linear edit systems and basic graphics skills
Required Skills:
- 1-5 years of shooting experience and knowledge of editing and video/photo equipment (experience is based on location).
- Ability to edit and shoot all types of stories, conduct live shots, and gather/edit natural sound packages.
- Passion for storytelling is essential.
- Strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems, on both desktops and laptops.
- Excellent people skills, strong work ethic, and a great attitude.
- Team player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record; able to operate ENG news vehicles.
- Physically fit to lift and carry 30 lbs. or more regularly.
- Flexible schedule to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Provide a link to your online demo reel or website showcasing your recent work.
- Additional skills may be required based on location and experience.

This opportunity is also available in the following locations: Birmingham, AL; West Palm Beach, FL; Hunt Valley, MD ($33.65 - $38.46/hr.); Baltimore, MD ($18.50-$20.93/hr.); Portland, ME; Winston-Salem, NC; Steubenville. OH; Austin, TX; El Paso, TX; San Antonio, TX; Bristol, VA & Seattle WA ($29- $35.75/hr.).
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
