CBS Miami is looking for an expert Sports Multi-Skilled Photographer! Duties will include the shooting and editing sports stories, MMJ reporting, producing, and fill-in anchoring. This role also includes setting up live shots, using professional audio equipment, and working independently or alongside anchors/reporters. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be proficient with non-linear editing.
Responsibilities include:
- Shoot, produce, write, and edit sports segments and shows
- Assist with the creation and production of high-energy and innovative sports content
- Proven photography & writing skills
- Must be able to troubleshoot minor equipment problems in the field and monitor/perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Manage and ingest media efficiently
- Other duties assigned by Manager
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- Grass Valley Edius or similar platform editing experience
- LIVE U backpacks or similar technology experience
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Must be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends and travel on short notice
