Job Summary/Description:
WBTV, a Gray Media station located in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an individual who is highly organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team environment to support our National Sales Department.
We are looking for a National Sales Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn about the broadcast industry. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process and requires a person who is an effective communicator and capable of multitasking. In this position, the candidate will assist the National Sales Manager with various day-to-day activities. Candidate will be responsible for entering orders, making necessary revisions, assisting with makegoods, and delivering pre/post logs as requested. Candidate will also assist the National Sales Manager in tracking preemptions, upcoming paid programming opportunities, and notifying of any revenue changes due to cancellations or additions by agencies. The candidate will also assist in managing political orders and maintaining public files for the FCC. While experience in broadcasting is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary skills and enthusiasm for the role.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing or advertising, or equivalent work experience
- Must possess good communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, multitask, and able to manage time effectively
- Knowledge of MS Office products and Wide Orbit Traffic preferred
