Job Summary/Description:
We’re looking for an experienced, creative, driven, and versatile Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) to join the Emmy-winning Palmetto Life team as a Lifestyle MMJ and Weekend Host. This role combines on-camera talent with behind-the-scenes production, focused on telling engaging lifestyle stories and producing sponsored content for both broadcast and digital platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Research, write, shoot, edit, and produce compelling lifestyle content for on-air and digital/social media
• Host and anchor weekend show, including live and pre-recorded content
• Deliver at least one polished package per day that engages viewers and meets station quality standards
• Conduct live, interactive interviews with guests across various topics
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to produce sponsored content and branded segments
• Fill in as producer when needed to support the team
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Proven experience in shooting, writing, editing, and producing content
• Confident on-camera presence with strong hosting/interviewing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under a deadline
• Self-starter with a creative mindset and a passion for storytelling
• FAA Drone Certification a plus
• Ability to work weekends required
• Good driving record required
