Lee Enterprises is seeking an ambitious, creative, and organized Promotions Project Manager to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about driving results and audience engagement.
About the Role
The Promotions Project Manager will join the Lee Promotions team, which provides creative event and online promotion solutions for local publications across Lee Enterprises. This role is essential for our "City Wide Ballots" program, which helps over 70 publications increase audience engagement and create new revenue opportunities. You'll be the first point of contact for local market leaders and a key partner in ensuring the program's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management & Strategy: Lead the strategy and coordination of the City Wide Ballots program roll-out.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with local publishers, ad directors, and sales teams.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze sales data, market research, and program results to create actionable plans and custom strategies.
- Project Execution: Develop project plans, build timelines, and maintain deadlines to ensure smooth execution.
- Collaboration: Partner with market leaders, strategists, and the design team to ensure program success and creative consistency.
- Communication: Lead weekly program calls to troubleshoot, brainstorm, and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Knowledge Sharing: Routinely meet with other project managers to share successful ideas and best practices.
- Industry Expertise: Stay up to date on digital advertising best practices and trends.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience in sales, project management, or a similar role.
- A demonstrable track record of surpassing revenue goals.
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior presentation abilities for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot, Teams, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
