The Knoxville News Sentinel has immediate openings for part-time inserters. This is a great position to earn additional funds on the weekend including college students looking for extra income! Currently our need is Friday through Tuesday, with periodic options for Wednesday & Thursday. Hours: 4:00 P.M. -12:00 A.M.

- Perform various functions necessary to package, insert and distribute supplements for daily and Sunday newspapers.
- Ensure each bundle through stacker lines is properly wrapped and tied for delivery to Transportation.
- Stack skids with bundles of newspapers.
- Check bundles for accurate counts & quality.
- Feed inserts into hoppers or hopper loaders.
- Hand insert newspapers.
- Help with general cleaning of the production area.
Requirements:
GED/High School diploma or extensive related experience in a manufacturing environment Good verbal communication skills required.
Must be able to repetitively lift newspaper bundles weighing up to 25 pounds.
