Playfly Sports is looking for an AR Credit & Collections Specialist to join our team in Revenue Operations.
This AR Credit & Collections Specialist will work with the corporate finance team on the management of the company’s customer credit evaluations and accounts receivable. This position will assist with monitoring cash flow and its relationship with aged accounts receivable. The person is this role will support the Accounting Manager by providing updates on aged receivables and reports on collection efforts.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Lead the credit review process for new customers
- Assist with new customer onboarding process into internal finance system
- Monitor outstanding accounts receivable across all divisions and follow up directly with customers on aged accounts receivable
- Coordinate with internal departments on their outstanding accounts receivable to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
- Research reasons for past due balances and notify customers with past due balances
- Document daily collection activity and provide regular updates via reporting in financial system
- Identify bad debt to sales ratio for finance team
- Assist in identifying gaps and recommend improvements on collections process
- Other job-related duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 – 5 years relevant work experience in Accounts Receivable department
- Strong financial acumen
- Experience working in Netsuite or similar system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powepoint, Excel)
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and follow up
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment or identify when assistance is needed
- Ability to manage multiple projects timely and accurately
- Superior verbal and written communications skill
Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements
- This role is a sedentary role and takes place in a quiet-office setting
- Travel on rare occasions may be required for company-wide events
Compensation
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The Base Pay Range For This Role Is
$55,000—$65,000 USD
