About the Role
The Promotions Coordinator is a key member of the Promotions Department, supporting five well-known Fort Wayne radio stations. Reporting to the Promotions Director, this role focuses on execution, organization, and accuracy.
You’ll spend much of your time in the office on a computer, managing contest logistics, prize fulfillment, schedules, and documentation – balanced with on-site support at live broadcasts, concerts, and community events.
This role often acts as the connector between departments, helping ensure everyone has the right information and materials to get things done smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Promotions & Contest Support
- Schedule on-air giveaways and contests
- Upload liners and coordinate execution with on-air staff
- Communicate with winners and manage prize fulfillment
- Track ticket inventory, will-call lists, and contest documentation
- Maintain the prize closet and inventory records
Events & Live Appearances
- Assist with concerts, remote broadcasts, trivia nights, and special events as needed
- Help with setup, teardown, signage, equipment, and promotional materials if onsite
- Support the Promotions Director and station staff on-site
Digital & Administrative Support
- Upload and maintain contest and event pages on station websites
- Assist with social media posts when assigned
- Maintain promotional calendars, deadlines, and task tracking
- Support sponsor deliverables, recaps, and internal documentation
- Help coordinate intern schedules and training

What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working on a computer and managing details daily
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift and transport equipment (up to 40 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
