CALI 93.9 is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and digitally savvy Digital Content Producer to create timely, relevant, and on-brand content that resonates with our audience. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media platforms, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to develop engaging, real-time content tied to what’s happening at the station.
This role works closely with on-air talent, programming, and internal stakeholders to manage and develop digital content that drives brand engagement and audience growth. The ideal candidate has prior experience managing social media for consumer-facing brands across both written and visual mediums and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing, sales-supported environment.
The successful candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, highly organized, and able to balance multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with on-air talent and programming teams to shape and execute a cross-collaborative, organic social media marketing strategy.
Create and post real-time content from the studio and community events, including behind-the-scenes coverage, recaps, photos, audio clips, and short-form videos.
Schedule, publish, and manage content on Meta platforms and X (Twitter); upload weekly blog posts to the station website; and keep the contest calendar updated with current and upcoming concerts.
Write compelling captions and copy that reflect brand voice and enhance visual and audio media.
Monitor Basecamp each day to track assignments and ensure timely completion of all sales deliverables.
Proactively research trending topics in reggaeton, Latin music, entertainment, and adjacent lifestyle categories.
Engage with audiences through direct messages, comments, and @mentions to foster conversation and community growth.
Monitor and relay community feedback to internal stakeholders and/or clients as needed.
Adhere to company guidelines regarding approved photography and video content, with video direction provided by station talent.
Integrate organic social content with advertising and promotional campaigns.
Develop and deliver monthly, top-line social media performance reports, including engagement and growth metrics.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated social media experience in an agency or in-house marketing environment.
Strong working knowledge of blogging, social media strategy, internet marketing, SEO, content development, and link-building.
Availability and flexibility to be in-studio with the CALI morning show daily from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Hands-on experience with Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and WordPress.
Ability to adopt and maintain the unique style, tone, and voice of multiple brands.
Proven photography skills and experience using photo-editing tools such as Photoshop, Canva, VSCO, or Lightroom.
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to anticipate next steps, identify challenges, and proactively propose solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience identifying, tracking, and reporting on community management KPIs.
Self-motivated, energetic, adaptable, flexible, and reliable.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to support when needed and lead when appropriate.
Strong interest in Latin music and culture is highly encouraged.
