The Director of Audio & Digital Publishing will oversee the development and production of this content. This role will help shape our global digital presence. This role oversees strategy, production workflows, platform relationships, and analytics to ensure content reaches audiences successfully and profitably.
The Director will partner closely with creative, marketing, business and legal affairs, and data teams to grow revenue, expand audiences and reach. The Director will lead skilled producers. They will build and maintain relationships with authors, talent, and agents. This team will support licensed partners and develop in-house creative. The goal is to make works that attract fans and increase market share.

Develop and own the global audio and digital publishing strategy across audio and ebooks; Full p&l responsibility and budget management.

Oversee concept development, programming, and editorial direction for digital and audio projects.

Identify new IP, talent partnerships and content opportunities.

Manage audio and digital production pipelines, rights clearances and approvals, editorial calendars, and quality standards.

Lead workflows across writing, recording, editing, post-production, and digital delivery.

Ensure compliance, brand consistency, and platform requirements.

Evaluate new platforms and emerging technologies.

Drive SEO, discoverability, and metadata optimization.

10+ years experience in audio and/or digital publishing, music, media, or entertainment content preferred.

Proven success managing digital content, launches, or audio production.

Demonstrated experience working with creative talent and producers.

Executive team and cross-functional team management experience.

Some domestic travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $155,000.00 - 165,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
