Job Description: Audacy’s Corporate Communications & PR team is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern with a passion for storytelling, media relations, and the evolving audio landscape to join our fast-paced department.
Audacy provides undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on work experience through a paid, structured internship program. This isn't just a "shadowing" opportunity; you will be an active participant in our daily operations, helping to publicize and promote major happenings across our local, corporate, internal, and podcast teams.

- The hourly rate for this opportunity is $17/hr
What to know before applying:
- The duration of the summer program is 10 weeks and will cover June 2nd – August 4th
- Interns will be expected to work 5 days a week with a total of 40 hours per week
- Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. School credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired
- Relocation is not provided, you will be expected to be able to commute into the NY office
- Interviewing will take place from February through mid April. An Audacy team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
What You'll Do: Audacy’s Internship Program is designed to provide participants with deep exposure to the professional world of corporate communications and publicity. As a Corporate Communications intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Publicity Support: Assist in promoting major company announcements, podcast launches, and corporate and local initiatives across multiple platforms.
- On-Site Activations: Support the team during live events and on-site activations; this may include working the red carpet at major events and providing logistical support.
- Speaker & Executive Support: Shadow and assist with staffing speakers at industry conferences and internal events.
- Media Research: Conduct competitive landscape research and monitor industry trends to keep the team informed on the latest in broadcast and audio.
- Briefing & Materials: Assist in drafting background materials, press releases, media lists and coverage reports for the team, as well as "know before you go" documents for executives and local market teams.
- Internal Communications: Assist in creating content for internal newsletters and company-wide updates.
- Lunch & Learns: Participate in exclusive sessions with Audacy executives and network with fellow interns across departments.

Required & Preferred:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Comunications, Public Relations, Jurnalism or similar
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (2–3 days in-office depending on market, with remote flexibility)
