Adecco Creative is partnering with a Global Fashion brand to recruit for a Communications Assistant. This position will be hybrid in Midtown Manhattan and an ongoing contract.
The Assistant, Global Brand Communications will:
- Aid in the tracking of press assets and distribution of assets to the BUs, maintaining timelines and coordinating for cross-functional approvals
- Maintain department brand communications calendar
- Research and vet thought leadership opportunities, including speaking engagements, podcasts, interviews, and awards
- Assist with developing executive briefing documents for thought leadership opportunities and interviews
- Work with market PR counterparts on local opportunities for brand/executive press, tracking and coordinating opportunities with executive travel
- Support internal communications channels, including newsletters, and collaborate with internal teams to incorporate brand messaging across company channels
- Coordinate monthly BU and PR partner/agency calls, capture call notes and recaps, track action items, and ensure follow-through
- Monitor media coverage and assist in developing press recaps and weekly reporting
- Assist in managing media monitoring accounts/services (Launch metrics, Lone Buffalo, Tribe, etc.)
- Maintain and update master list of key brand comms media contacts
- Work on all team-wide PR initiatives (parties, launches, events, strategy sessions, etc.); collaborate on and contribute ideas for PR initiatives
- Stay informed on all industry news and research best practices, especially regarding cultural relevance and competitors
- Support the PR team on seasonal runway shows
- Support with global PR administrative tasks including invoicing, maintaining distro lists, etc.
The accomplished individual will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years of relevant PR experience
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external partners
- Self-starter with strong initiative, ownership and accountability for business
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Highly engaged in the fashion world; continually keep up on news and happenings in the industry to drive ideas for Coach
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience creating impactful presentations
