Primacy is building the next evolution of search and AI visibility. As large language models reshape how brands are discovered and cited, authority is no longer just about rankings — it’s about entity strength, co-citation, and category presence across the web.
We’re looking for a Digital PR Specialist to help execute high-impact authority and visibility initiatives for our clients. This role blends digital PR, outreach, content syndication, and SEO execution. It is execution-heavy and ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow at the intersection of SEO, AI visibility, and brand authority. Please expect ~20 hours/month.
This is not a traditional PR role. This is a performance-oriented authority-building role embedded within our SEO team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Authority & Outreach Execution
- Research and build targeted media, podcast, and publication lists aligned to client industries
- Execute structured outreach campaigns for media pitching, guest posts, and podcast placements
- Coordinate with clients to gather insights, quotes, and approvals
- Track and manage outreach pipelines in CRM or project tools
- Secure and document placements, mentions, and backlinks
- SEO & Content Support
- Support on-page SEO execution (metadata, internal linking, content updates)
- Assist with structured data implementation and content formatting
- Collaborate on keyword and entity research
- Ensure guest posts and placements align with SEO best practices (anchor text, positioning, entity language)
- AI Visibility Support
- Monitor AI share-of-voice and citation tracking tools
- Document co-citation trends and competitor mentions
- Support reporting on authority growth and AI visibility metrics
What Success Looks Like:
- Consistent secured placements in relevant, authoritative publications
- Growth in high-quality backlinks and brand mentions
- Measurable lift in branded search and AI citation visibility
- Strong coordination with internal SEO team
- Outreach velocity that meets weekly benchmarks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 to 3 years experience in digital marketing, communications, journalism, or SEO
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable with outreach, follow-ups, and structured email campaigns
- Highly organized and comfortable working in spreadsheets and project management tools
- Curiosity about SEO, AI search, and digital authority
- Comfortable executing repetitive but strategic tasks
- Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Experience with media pitching or guest content placement
- Understanding of how backlinks impact search visibility
