We are seeking aSenior Editor, Audience Insights & Strategy, CNNtojoin ateamfocused onevolving andsharpeningour digital product and centeringour audience inour journalism. This person will play an essentialrole in advancing our audience-first approach by turning data into actionable insights,shaping our editorial and contentstrategiesanddevelopingworkflows and productsthatscalethevisibility,impactandaccessibilityofinsights in theorganization.This team will work in deep partnership with CNN's dataand audienceteamstoensurethatouraudienceinsights are robust,accurateandflow into every part of the business- from newsroom decisions to long-term product and platform strategies.
This is a role for a strategic thinker andskilled communicatorwhothrives at the intersection of audience-centered editorial judgment, datafluencyand cross-functionalcollaboration.
Keyresponsibilities:
Analyzeperformance data across CNN’s digital platforms (site, app, social, video, audio) to uncover trends,insightsand anomalies
Collaborate with partners in audience, product, analytics and editorial to bring audience-first thinking and data-backed insights into our content,productand platform strategies
Your Qualifications & Experiences...
5-7+years of experience in digital media, audience development, content strategy, oraudienceinsights roles
Fluency in analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Chartbeat, Parse.ly,Google Analytics, Looker Studio)and comfort with basic data manipulation and formulas in Excel or Google Sheets

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $91,000.00 - $169,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
