Job Summary
This position serves as a Project Employee, helping to support the Team Sites Product team. This individual will assist the Associate Product Manager in the day-to-day management of the Team Sites Customer Portal, and support the product team in conceiving and gathering requirements to help implement the product roadmap. Additional responsibilities include presenting best practices and strategies, gathering relevant data to support the product team in leveraging insights to advance the roadmap, and managing smaller projects as needed.
Major Responsibilities
- Work directly with the NBA Teams, League Product and Account Management groups to help lead all product-related deliverables for NBA team sites
- Work with the Associate Product Manager to support day-to-day management of the Team Sites Customer Portal to ensure NBA Team requests are reviewed, assigned, and addressed in a timely manner, including request tracking, delivery coordination with the Associate Product Manager and engineering, and portal tool management
- Provide day-to-day product management and scrum team support, including development and implementation of product strategy and roadmap, requirements gathering, story writing, stakeholder review and testing, and production escalation triage
- Provide project management support in coordination with PMO to plan, handle, and execute project plans, ensuring deliverables and timelines are successfully met
- Assist with ad product deliverables in coordination with League ad product, Global Media Operations, and account management teams including working with League ad product to crafting requirements for engineering based on NBA Team requests and system requirements
- Support product team in day-to-day communication with stakeholders (Account Management, Engineering, NBA Teams), including but not limited to scheduling calls, crafting agendas, and providing recap notes
Required Education/Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience related to digital product or project management

- Ability to work optimally in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Some familiarity with some of the following platforms preferred (Jira, Confluence, Adobe Analytics)
- Ability to multi-task and creatively solve day-to-day challenges
- Outstanding organization, project management skills, and attention to detail!
