We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Senior Network Scheduling Coordinator to support and execute programming strategies across our network portfolio. This role is ideal for a scheduling professional who can operate with increasing independence, take ownership of key scheduling functions, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize performance.
This position goes beyond basic coordination and requires strong systems proficiency, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage scheduling workflows with minimal oversight. You will have the opportunity to own meaningful portions of the scheduling process within a growing network portfolio, work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with high visibility across teams and make a direct impact on programming strategy and network performance.
This role is onsite in our Santa Monica, CA office.
In this role, you will:
- Own and manage scheduling for assigned networks, dayparts, or programming blocks with a high degree of accuracy and autonomy
- Build, maintain, and adjust quarterly, monthly, and weekly program schedules in WideOrbit/What’sOn systems
- Track and enforce licensing restrictions, including run counts and contractual windows
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, rights issues, and operational risks
- Collaborate with Ad Sales and Creative Marketing to support revenue-generating programming initiatives and tentpole events
- Evaluate programming performance and contribute insights to improve scheduling effectiveness
- Prepare schedules for internal review and secure stakeholder approvals
- Implement schedule updates and changes in Nielsen and related systems, ensuring accuracy across platforms
- Serve as a key point of contact for communicating schedule changes to internal and external partners
- Act as backup support for Scheduling Managers and help maintain continuity across networks
- Contribute to process improvements and workflow efficiencies within the scheduling function
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in broadcast, cable, or multicast network scheduling
- Hands-on experience with scheduling software (WideOrbit Programming, What’sOn, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Nielsen systems and ratings workflows
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules with accuracy and minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to spot inconsistencies and risks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of television programming, including series and film
Preferred Qualifications
- Background supporting multiple networks or programming streams simultaneously
- Familiarity with ad sales collaboration or revenue-driven programming strategies
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements

The base salary compensation range for this role is $70,300 to $72,700. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
