About the Role
As part of CBC/Radio-Canada’s ERP Modernization and Business Transformation, we are implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to modernize sourcing, procurement, contracting, and supplier management across the organization.
We are seeking a Senior Functional Specialist – Procurement Governance & Supplier Lifecycle to lead the design and stabilization of supplier lifecycle, procurement governance, and third-party risk processes within Oracle Fusion Procurement Cloud.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Transformation, you will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure our procurement platform supports strong governance, supplier risk management, and public-sector compliance requirements.
This role will play a key part in ERP implementation, testing, go-live readiness, and post-implementation stabilization.
Location: Ottawa, Montreal, or Toronto (Hybrid)
This is a contract role for a period of two years.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Procurement Configuration
Lead configuration and enhancement of Oracle Fusion Procurement modules including:
Supplier Qualification Management (SQM), public tendering workflows
Supplier Portal, collaboration with suppliers and registration
Procurement Contracts
Sourcing and Self-Service Procurement
Item and Inventory Management
Supplier Lifecycle & Governance
Design and implement a standardized contract intake and triage process to improve compliance and speed of execution.
Support supplier onboarding and supplier qualification workflows.
Integrate ESG and third-party risk management (TPRM) requirements into supplier lifecycle processes.
Develop vendor segmentation models, supplier risk scoring, and risk-based approval workflows.
Ensure procurement processes align with procurement policies, financial directives, auditability requirements, and public-sector governance standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with:
Procurement
Legal and Contract Management
Finance and Accounts Payable
Risk, Compliance, and Privacy teams
Vendors and external stakeholders
Testing, Release & Stabilization
Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and quarterly Oracle release updates and validation.
Contribute to training preparation and knowledge transfer.
Assist with go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilization activities.
Systems Supported
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or Information Systems.
5–8 years experience with ERP procurement systems, preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud.
Experience with supplier lifecycle management, sourcing, procurement governance, or contract management systems.
Experience supporting ERP implementations, testing, and post-go-live support.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of Source-to-Contract and Supplier Risk Management processes.
Ability to translate procurement policy and governance requirements into system configuration.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience working in large enterprise ERP transformation programs.
Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
