Seeking a voice over artist with an authentic Chinese accent for a cinematic trailer for a 16th century kung fu series. This is a performance-driven project featuring approximately eight distinct voices, each with one to three short lines.
Ideally, we are looking for one versatile performer who can deliver a range of characters, including monks, warriors, and authority figures, with clear tonal distinction between roles. However, actors capable of performing multiple voices convincingly will be strongly preferred.
All dialogue is in English and should be delivered with a natural, believable Chinese accent. Performances should feel grounded and restrained, with a focus on subtle emotion, tension, and presence rather than theatrical delivery.
Actors should be able to shift between tones such as urgent and cautious, calm and reflective, and controlled authority, while maintaining authenticity across characters.
Strong acting ability and clean recording quality are required.
