Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or
equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be
received from appropriately accredited institutions.
One year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast
television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent
combination of training and experience.
License/Certification RequiredEssential Job Functions - Work with ESPN+ production crew on gameday broadcasts and in-venue productions for App State home events
- Video content creation across a variety of platforms - including social media, in-venue video boards, and appstatesports.com
Work in conjunction with the External Relations team to drive storytelling and brand awareness through social media content, intro/hype videos, highlights, interviews, and student-athlete features - Work on select nights and weekends (when applicable)
- Other duties as assigned
- Reports directly to Director of Sports Productions
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this PositionPreferred Qualifications Experience working for a college or university athletics program
Four-year degree in Electronic Media/Broadcasting, Mass Communications or other related field
Experience in live sports production
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Work Schedule/Hours: VariesMust be flexible in working hours including nights, weekends and holidays when needed
