Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Altamonte Springs, FL. Z88.3 is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Manager to plan, execute, and manage station events that connect with our listeners, donors, and community. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in event planning, a heart for ministry, and a passion for creating meaningful, engaging experiences. The ideal candidate is outgoing, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all station events including concerts, community outreach, donor events, and promotional appearances
• Manage event logistics from start to finish including timelines, vendor coordination, permits, setup, and breakdown
• Oversee on-site event execution to ensure a high-quality experience that reflects the Z88.3 brand
• Ensure all event details are organized, documented, and communicated clearly across teams
• Evaluate event success and provide post-event recaps and insights
• Actively identify and pursue new event opportunities that align with Z88.3’s mission and expand our presence in the community
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in event planning, coordination or related field
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadline simultaneously
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making abilities
• Resource Planning, and Time Management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event planning tools
• Must be able to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, and must be able to drive a station vehicle to and from events.
• MUST be able to lift up to 40 pounds and set up heavy equipment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and handle Florida heat at outdoor events.
• Must be able to handle large groups of people and be able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects within a given day and have the flexibility to deal with last-minute changes and deadlines for any current or future events.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in nonprofit, or ministry-based organizations
• Familiarity with the Central Florida community
• Passion for Christian music and alignment with Z88.3’s mission and values
