A former elite Navy pilot, who lost his commission after a tragic mission went wrong. He was the sole survivor. He is energetic, plucky, witty, funny, most of the time, but he also carries a lot of guilt about the Alcazar incident, and is haunted by it.
He believes he failed at the one thing he did best. He lives with shame, self-doubt, the knowledge that he might have actually screwed up. Taking the mission (flying again) isn’t just a skill issue—it’s: "What if I was the problem?"
