Our Artist Strategy team works right at the centre of the label, connecting the dots between global affiliates, creative minds, and commercial teams to bring an artist's vision to life. In the Import team, you’ll be working with a passionate group of specialists who value collaboration, creative thinking, and a fan-first approach to breaking world-class international music in the local market.
Your role:
As our Artist Strategy Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Warner Music Australia & New Zealand International Artist Strategy team in planning, implementing, and successfully executing innovative, best-practice marketing plans for our massive international roster. In this fast-paced role, you will act as the ultimate engine room, keeping campaigns moving by coordinating everything from digital product releases and global assets to critical advertising deadlines. Here you’ll get to:
You willsupport Artist Strategy Managers and Executives in the development and delivery of insight-led, audience-centric marketing and artist strategies.
You willassist in managing complex project lifecycles by acquiring campaign assets, coordinating material for advertising, and paid media campaign briefing.
You will handle daily financial administration activities, including raising purchase orders and distributing invoices in strict alignment with WMA processes.
You willcompile artist performance reports from WMG proprietary tools, tracking consumption and audience data to share with key stakeholders.
You will coordinate communication for international artists, including scheduling releases, pitching to local partners, and monitoring performance trends.
You will provide project administration support for the creative briefing and localisation of existing assets for campaigns and artist channels.
You will dive into action at artist and fan events, providing on-site support, vendor coordination, and stakeholder collaboration.
You will partner with the e-commerce team to help develop and promote exclusive, value-added products across owned and D2C channels.
You willcollaborate with other Assistants and Coordinators to provide administrative and reception support to the office manager when required.
About you:
You have at least 1+ years of early-career level marketing or administrative experience within a creative environment, record label, or commercial entertainment industry.
You haveprior experience handling financial administration, such as processing invoices, purchase orders, or assisting with budgets.
You enjoybuilding positive relationships and possess strong communication skills, making you a collaborative team player across internal and external networks.
You enjoykeeping abreast of global industry trends, digital platforms, and social media landscapes as an active daily user.
You willbring a highly organised, reliable, and deeply detail-oriented mindset to a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
You are passionate about international music, sensitive to diverse audiences, and eager to bring an inquisitive, fast-learning energy to the team.
We’d love it if you also had:
You haveexperience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
You have proficiency with video editing software like CapCut, Premiere, or equivalent programs.
