Family Radio, a ministry of Loam Media, is looking for a gifted, full-time radio imaging and audio production professional to help shape how our ministry sounds across broadcast, digital, fundraising, and future on-demand audio offerings.
This is not just a production job.
Sure, production counts. Stuff like clean edits, strong writing, the right FX, and knowing when that last whoosh was one whoosh too many.
But this role is bigger than making audio sound polished.
It is about using your creative gifts to help a ministry sound as faithful, thoughtful, and alive as the message it carries.
Family Radio is a Christian media ministry committed to proclaiming the Bible, the Word of God, and helping listeners grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe Christian radio can do more than offer a brief spiritual uplift (though that’s a good thing!) before everybody gets back to whatever was making them anxious.
At its best, Christian media can help people hear Scripture clearly, understand the Gospel more deeply, and stay rooted in Truth in the middle of ordinary life.
That drives all we do. We don’t want to hustle for metrics, equate the skillful tweaking of emotions with the Holy Spirit’s work, or deliver feel-good vibes without depth and call it ministry.
What we pray we do: deliver God’s Word plainly and let it speak for Itself. And in doing so creatively, we sound human, trustworthy, thoughtful, and deeply anchored in that Word. All else is shifting sand.
The Audio Creative Lead will write, produce, refresh, and guide the audio elements that shape the listener experience across Family Radio’s national broadcast signals, online stations, support drives, donor campaigns, non-linear audio, podcasts, and be a key stakeholder in any future audio initiatives, including original audio productions.
You will likely thrive in this role if you can hear what’s missing out there, recognize what could be stronger in here, don’t need to be told what to do, and you see this vision like we do!
The person who does this well will need to write clearly, produce beautifully, understand brand identity instinctively, and work well with people who all have different needs, deadlines, and ideas. So, yes, this person needs skill.
But skill alone will not be enough.
We are looking for someone who actually believes in what God is calling this specific ministry to do, and who really leans in when you hear it described. And then gets pumped when imagining that YOU are the one crafting the sound that does so much of the work of making that mission come through loud and clear.
