Are you passionate about helping local businesses grow through innovative advertising and marketing solutions? KSBY, a Scripps-owned television station, is seeking a driven, consultative sales professional to join our team as a Local Account Executive. In this role, you'll partner with businesses and advertising agencies to develop customized multi-platform marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. You'll leverage the power of broadcast television, OTT/streaming video, digital advertising, social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing and more to help clients connect with their audiences and achieve their goals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and maintain new business relationships with local and regional businesses, as well as advertising agencies.
- Apply the Scripps Sales Process (SSP) to identify customer needs and recommend customized advertising and marketing solutions that deliver return on investment.
- Sell and execute integrated advertising campaigns across television and digital platforms, including OTT/CTV, search marketing, social media, digital display and email targeting.
- Prospect independently, secure client meetings, conduct needs analyses, develop proposals, deliver presentations and close business.
- Analyze ratings, audience insights and market trends to create strategic advertising recommendations and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by building strong client relationships, exceeding customer expectations and generating referrals.
- Manage all aspects of client service including proposal development, media negotiations, copy creation, credit applications and collections activity.
- Utilize CRM tools to effectively manage sales pipelines, track activities, forecast revenue and achieve key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative advertising campaigns that address client objectives.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular communication and networking opportunities.
- Perform routine administrative responsibilities including makegood resolutions, account updates, revenue tracking and sales reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two or more years of successful sales experience preferred.
- Experience in strategic account management, broadcast ratings and digital advertising execution preferred.
- Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record and proof of insurance meeting company-required limits.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Annual Salary: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00
