Why this role matters: These roles constitute the core of our video production team, delivering content tailored forboth newsrooms and digital platforms. They are also an important part of our global effort to source and verify user-generated content.
What you will do: You will be a key member of AP’s new 24/7 global production hub, quickly producing video content for AP customers and audiences that rely on us to cover stories across the world. You will collaborate with AP journalists across formats to deliver compelling, high-impact journalism that aligns with AP’s digital-first strategy and AP standards. Your work will help meet the needs of AP’s customers for quick, accurate and engaging content and contribute to expanding our digital audience.You will:

Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, such as at least three years of full-time experience at a daily newspaper, broadcast station, online or digital news outlet, or an AP bureau or regional desk.

Have strong organizational skills, with the ability to work to deadline, communicate effectively across formats, and deliver on complex and challenging storylines.
