We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Decider Features Intern (24 hrs/week) to join our team this fall! If you’re passionate about pop culture, entertainment, streaming, and all things trending, this is your chance to get hands-on editorial experience with a rapidly growing digital property. As a paid internship (eligible for credit), you'll be part of the action, working directly with a talented news team while learning the ins and outs of digital reporting, content creation, and breaking news!

Note: This internship is scheduled to run from September 14, 2026 - November 20, 2026. Participants are expected to work part time hours and adhere to our on-site work schedule. Open to current juniors and seniors pursuing a BA, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year.
Note: This position requires in-office attendance at our Midtown Manhattan office.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct research for exciting content the Decider team is working on, from articles and lists to reports and deep dives.
Gather and edit digital assets (images, screencaps, GIFs, videos) that bring Decider stories to life.
Participate in content planning meetings and pitch your own fresh ideas for articles, galleries, videos, and social media campaigns.
Execute approved content on Decider.com and across our social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to engage our audience.
Assist the Decider staff in covering the latest entertainment, streaming, and pop culture news with speed and accuracy.
Write and report weekly stories, SEO-driven articles, and blog posts—getting your byline out there!
You’ll gain invaluable experience in editorial, research, and social media, all while learning from industry pros in a fun and collaborative environment.

Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is required, and knowledge of WordPress is a huge plus!

Base Pay Range: $20/hour - $20/hour
We’re committed to offering competitive and flexible compensation to attract top talent. This pay range reflects our good faith estimate for the role and may vary based on a candidate’s experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
For bonus-eligible roles, targets are determined based on multiple considerations, including market benchmarks and individual contributions.
