As I was learning to become a Disc Jockey while embarking on Media presence I discovered that being a Disc Jockey is totally not the same as being a Dee Jay. There is a significant difference. Also the fact that you actually are expected to engage with your public. Dee Jays do it sublimely through emotions they convey through a song or the genre of music they play. More importantly I think that being a Disc Jockey is so much more than that though it’s an important platform you are the connection to the radio listeners masses and the community at large especially when and if there is a natural disaster you are to keep them informed of the NBI and then there is the FCC.
