About the role
The Audience Insights Department of Corus Entertainment has a full-time opening for an Audience Insights Team Lead, Content, located in Toronto. This role reports into the Manager, National Audience Insights. The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing audience and marketing data analysis in support of business planning and development.
You will contribute by:
- Provide strategic support to the content, marketing, and publicity teams by delivering audience insights that inform key business decisions, including broadcast audience trending, cross-platform audience behaviors, and external press materials.
- Prepare and present audience insights for internal brand meetings, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare and issue regular monthly and quarterly audience performance reporting in a timely manner, ensuring data accuracy.
- Conduct in-depth audience analyses and cross-platform reporting to support the internal media team.
- Develop and maintain audience reporting dashboards for internal stakeholders to enhance accessibility and usability of key metrics.
- Collaborate with the Audience Insights Team Lead – Sales to fulfill sales-related data requests and provide additional support as needed.
- Assist the Audience Insights Manager in mentoring and collaborating with team members to foster knowledge sharing and best practices.
Skills and experience you will bring:
- Minimum of 4+ years experience working with the media environment - agency, broadcaster or related research company
- Working knowledge of third party media suppliers, Vividata, Numeris PPM Data, and affliliated software
- Skilled in Powerpoint, excel and Power BI
- Ability to analyze and interpret audience insights data in a clear, concise manner, summarizing information for the end user
- Ability to provide clear direction and training to team members
- Ability to work within and foster a collaborative team environment.
