Job Description
Job Summary:
This incumbent oversees the end-to-end employee lifecycle across designated business units, with a focus on talent management, engagement and retention.
Primary Responsibilities
Recruitment & Selection:
- Actively supports the hiring process specific to rehires, Internal Job Applications (IJP) and conducts HR interviews of shortlisted candidates.
- Acts as a liaison between recruiters and managers in case of hiring challenges and escalations.
- In case of report anomalies, highlights and manages any subsequent action steps and processes required.
Talent Engagement, Management and Retention
- Conducts regular one on one and/or focus group discussions to understand employee pulse, challenges and engagement levels.
- Develop coherent business processes relating to employees.
- Leads and manages the quarterly 9 – box reviews with team leads for designated business units to continuously evaluate employee Performance and Potential across teams incl. succession planning for critical roles and maintaining a talent mobility list as applicable.
- Identifies high performers and work with the supervisor towards their training and engagement needs.
- Identifies low performers and recommend action steps, as appropriate.
- Manages leadership connects and other cross-functional programs that enable continuous communication and discussion amongst employees and organizational leads.
- Oversees employee engagement and team building activities for designated teams and enables employee participation.
- Conducts retention and/or exit interviews with employees, as and when the need arises.
- Handling employee relations issues such as grievances and employee welfare.
Reports & Dashboards
- Build reports and scorecards to track key HR metrics, processes and progress.
- Create reports to highlight employee feedback, inputs and risks based on employee engagement connects.
- Analyze data trends and patterns and agree on actionable insights to improve HR effectiveness.
- Builds and presents quarterly HR dashboards to internal stakeholders, based on data analysis.
Stakeholder Management
- Acts as the primary guide to the designated Business Unit stakeholders, advising them on all HR related team and employee matters.
- Provides strategic inputs to improve HR processes and efficiencies.
- Continuously builds and manages HR initiatives and programs that improve employee engagement and retention metrics.
- Acts as the liaison between the business and HR CoE’s to enable effective partnership and proactive support.
Required Skills
- We are seeking an experienced, versatile, and results-driven HR business partner to align our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs. Additionally, we would need:
- Graduate with 5 - 7 years of experience in HR with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in HRBP role.
- Strong data orientation, analytical and presentation skills
- Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
