About the Role
Corus has an exciting full-time opportunity for an HR Systems Analyst based in our Toronto head office. Reporting directly to the Manager, HR Systems. You will be integral to a team responsible for the support, maintenance, and enhancement of Dayforce. The role serves as the technical liaison for specific functional areas and works in conjunction with subject matter experts to ensure data integrity, perform testing for system changes, and analyze data flow to uncover opportunities for process improvement.
You will contribute by:
- Providing first-level support by offering specialized functional knowledge for daily assistance and problem resolution.
- Deliver support in Dayforce configuration, maintenance, enhancement, and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, Collective Agreements, company policies and overall business strategy.
- Establish data quality control protocols to maintain data integrity, security, and peak performance, incorporating audits and reporting.
- Analyze HR processes to identify challenges and uncover opportunities for enhancing efficiency and improving system performance.
- Developing user documentation and procedures; ensure the maintenance of clear and comprehensive business requirement documents for all modifications to the system.
- Overseeing extensive data modification tasks, including mass uploads into Dayforce.
- Liaise with the vendor to remain current on new releases and upgrades to software.
- Lead testing, validation, and overall performance prior to implementation, making recommendations on new features as needed.
- Preparing training resources and delivering educational presentations (system features, new functionalities, or upgrades etc.) for end-users as needed.
Skills and experience you bring:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources complemented by related work experience in HR data management or related functions.
- Possess 3-4 years HR Systems experience in complex non-union and multi-union environment interpreting policies and collective agreements on a regular basis.
- Previous Dayforce experience preferred, including Recruiting, Onboarding, WFM, HR Administration, Benefits, Payroll and TAFW.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel includes formulas and functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF statements, pivot tables, macros).
- Have a collaborative mindset and thrive in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating initiative and independence.

- Resourceful in researching and networking to problem solve complex data issues, troubleshooting end-user issues and system interfacing issues.

- Attend webinars, seminars, and workshops in order to keep up to date on relevant legislation and technical skills.
