Seeking a strategic and experienced Marketing & Social Media Manager to support the growth and visibility of a popular podcast brand. This is a unique opportunity to partner directly with a prominent host and small production team to own and lead the podcast’s digital marketing strategy, driving engagement and discovery across platforms. Ideal candidates will bring experience working with celebrities, talent brands, or entertainment properties and understand how to craft a marketing presence that cuts through the noise.
🕒 Role Type: Part-Time, Ongoing
📍 Location: Hybrid – Must be local to Los Angeles (Culver City-based recordings)
📅 Schedule: 10–15 hours/week
💲 Pay Rate: $35–$40/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the podcast’s marketing and social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and others
- Translate weekly episode content into targeted, high-impact social and digital campaigns aimed at increasing audience engagement and reach
- Collaborate closely with the host, podcast producer, and social media lead to align messaging and timelines
- Attend in-person podcast tapings to extract notable moments, quotes, and behind-the-scenes content for promotion
- Develop, organize, and optimize marketing workflows and editorial calendars
- Support the host’s personal brand visibility and audience development through consistent platform strategy
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze audience data, and iterate content strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years experience in social media marketing, preferably for talent, podcasts, entertainment, or streaming brands
- Strong track record of strategically growing audiences and shaping the online presence of public figures or shows
- Deep understanding of how to market video/audio content across short-form and long-form platforms
- Experience crafting campaigns from ideation through execution, not just content creation
- YouTube or podcast marketing experience is a major plus
- Must be based in the Los Angeles area and able to attend recordings in Culver City
- Portfolio required showing work for entertainment, podcast, or personality-driven brands
- Excellent communicator, proactive collaborator, and comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment
