We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic and data-orientated Junior Performance Marketing Executive to join our marketing team at Universal Music Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing to contribute directly to our fan orientated customer acquisition and audience strategies. You will be data driven with a creative mindset and instrumental in executing, optimizing, and reporting on our digital advertising campaigns across various platforms.
The Junior Performance Marketing Executive role is part of the Marketing & Audience teams who are responsible for creating compelling marketing campaigns for our frontline, domestic and catalogue roster as well as our eCommerce and commercial initiatives.
You’ll be responsible for the planning and execution of our paid growth strategies across both International and Domestic artists. You will engage new audiences across key digital marketing channels & partnerships to drive fan growth as well as retain and engage existing audiences.
About The Role
- Plan & execute best-in-class performance marketing campaigns for UMG, UMI & Claddagh artists, their catalogue and associated brands as well as helping to grow our eCommerce audience.
- Plan and execute integrated digital campaigns across paid, owned and earned media channels including TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Google, Snapchat, CRM, Shopify & Third-Party Ad-Manager Tools.
- Strategically align digital campaign activity with audience development initiatives including CRM, Fan Segmentation, Audience Engagement Strategies to help further grow fanbases & consumption in IE & Rest of World.
- Contribute to creative brainstorms for artist and channel campaigns. You will bring platform knowledge, audience insight, market and performance trends to the wider team to help bring campaigns to life.
- Showcase a keen and passionate understanding of how listeners, across different generations discover and engage with artists and their music
- Aid with educating the Audience & marketing teams on best-practices and data-driven performance marketing updates.
- Develop effective paid campaigns that use storytelling to connect with new fans & super fans alike
- Regularly identify target audiences and analyse their characteristics, behaviours, and media habits
- Develop and deliver real-time recommendations based on campaign performance
- Develop, with the marketing & audience teams, impactful & effective advertising assets
- Showcase a keen and passionate understanding of how listeners, across different generations discover and engage with artists and their music
About You
- 1-2 Years Experience in Performance Marketing (Agency or in-house)
- Degree in Marketing or industry equivalent
- A deep passion for music, and an understanding of the music business
- Experience in digital media marketing within the music, entertainment, live or youth-driven consumer industries
- Strong creative sensibility
- Passionate about growing audiences for artists and taking new and fresh approaches in the pursuit of growth
- Experience working with external agencies and experts
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Knowledge of creative production workflows and asset versioning for digital channels
- Experience with first-person data and audience segmentation
- Experience with operational campaign budgets
