The Vice President, Commercials, North America position at Ceremony of Roses is a new role responsible for developing and leading the company’s domestic sales and licensing division. The role has oversight of commercials endeavors including wholesale, licensing, and Amazon/marketplace. The overarching priority of this leadership position is strategic revenue growth across these verticals. Additional priorities include deepening retail buyer relationships and new business development. A key responsibility to this role will include selling licensed apparel into major US retailers. Sales experience and relationships with the likes of Target, Walmart, Hot Topic is preferred. You must be comfortable owning a P&L, department processes, and team management. The Vice President, International Sales will report directly to the SVP of Global Commercial Affairs and work closely with the central commercial teams to ensure impactful results and exceptional client service. Responsibilities include formulating, developing & implementing a sales and licensing growth strategy for Ceremony of Roses, North America; driving overall business profitability and implementing strategies that expand market share and increase revenue; setting annual and quarterly financial targets and ensuring that targets are met or exceeded; owning department PnL; presenting department results to senior leadership; contributing to key music artist retail & licensing programs; identifying and creating new business opportunities; managing high-level relationships with key clients, customers, vendors and partners; developing and implementing standardized processes; being a key stakeholder in technology projects; leading and managing a diverse team; working with leadership on talent acquisition, leadership development and employee retention; fostering a culture of collaboration, communication and engagement; and handling special projects as assigned by senior leadership. The role requires an entrepreneurial and growth mindset, significant experience (10+ years) in selling licensed apparel, long-standing relationships with licensed apparel buyers at major US retail outlets, significant experience managing large and diverse teams, strong forecasting and budget management skills, and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
