Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
Want to work with one of America’s most beloved and trusted brands? The TODAY Digital team prides itself on creativity, imagination, and collaboration. We’re currently looking for a proven, innovative digital video leader to join our growing team. As the Supervising Producer you will oversee lifestyle digital video content for TODAY Digital.
The Supervising Producer will be responsible for the production and delivery of premium video content for TODAY digital – this includes overseeing all aspects of production, post-production and editorial for talent-led VODcasts, premium social video and digital video franchises.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a video team of editors, videographers, and a production manager.
- Provide editorial guidance and vision for series and production.
- Lead the entire ecosystem of video-led podcasts and premium digital video series.
- In collaboration with producers, draft show scripts and segments, prepping talent and guests.
- Lead and oversee digital all video shoots in lifestyle, build franchises and oversee the end-to-end execution of digital video franchises.
- Work alongside TODAY talent to lead and produce their video-led digital productions.
- Work cross functionally with our booking, broadcast and production teams to establish best workflows and practices.
- Work cross functionally with our social team to produce desired premium video with our talent and celebrity guests.
- Manage the entire post-production process of digital video
- Edit and shoot video alongside your team of digital video producers when needed

Salary range: $150,000 - 180,000 (bonus eligible)
Qualifications
- At least 12+ years in video production for a news and/or lifestyle media company
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and social in-app editing tools
- Expert videographer with experience leading small but mighty video productions.
- Strong news judgment and excellent writing, research, interviewing and communication skills
- Familiar with social video, social media and video distribution
- Experience leading a team of senior producers and producers, editors
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Understanding of the video podcast space and the competition, best practices.
