Big Radio is looking for part-time fill-in hosts to cover shifts on WJVL 99.9 (All the Best Country), 105.9 The Hog (Everything That Rocks), and potentially other Big Radio stations in the Janesville/Beloit (Wisconsin) market.

We believe what happens between the songs is what separates us from Pandora, Spotify, and every algorithm out there. Anyone can play a playlist. We want talent who talk between the songs — about the music, the artists, what's going on in town, what made you laugh this morning, what your listeners actually care about. Personality. Fun. A reason to come back.

The Gig
• Remote work — voice track or run live shifts from your own studio
• We use PlayoutOne's remote web VT and LiveMIC, so all you need is a solid mic, a quiet room, and reliable internet
• Fill-in basis: nights, weekends, holidays, vacation coverage
• Paid as a 1099 independent contractor
Who We're Looking For
• Experience on country radio, mainstream rock, or both — bonus if you can flex between formats
• A real voice with a real point of view — conversational, warm, and engaging between every break
• Genuine knowledge of and love for the music you'd be playing
• Dependable turnaround on voice-tracked shifts
• Comfortable with PlayoutOne or willing to learn it (it's straightforward)
