SummitMedia has an immediate opening for a Promotions Manager - Create events, build brands, and engage in Brimingham, AL.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in outdoor promotions and/or marketing and/or customer service preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and Canva
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
- High work standards and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and lift or move 40-pound objects
Regular Duties Include:
- Manage the promotion and direction of promotional activities that improve the brand's image in Birmingham
- Collaborate with multiple departments to create and execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits, and other street team activities from start to finish
- Attend client meetings and present promotional ideas
- Drive promotional vehicles and coordinate and oversee on-site appearances, remotes, and events
- Perform basic office administrative functions
- Update station website
- Conduct on-site promotions and handle clients and listeners
- Set up and run audio and other types of equipment, hang banners, and other staging elements
- Set up, breakdown, and transport promotion event equipment as required
- Prepare contest rules, waivers, prize fulfillment, and release forms for all contests

- Communicate effectively with both staff and leadership
- Ability to create an environment that benefits everyone in it, contributing to the overall success
- Must reside or relocate to Birmingham, AL
