Playfly Sports is looking for a Director of Creative Services to join our team in Troy Sports Properties.

This position reports directly to the Associate Athletics Director / Communications & Creative Content and the Sr. Associate Athletics Director for External Relations

What You’ll Accomplish

Create visually impactful designs for internal and external digital and print applications
Provide conceptual ideation, creative direction and constructive feedback, while creating and designing assets used by the department and institution
Help lead a team of student workers and interns
Develop creative workflows, manage a queue of requested work, conceptualize individual work, as well as act as a leader and mentor to other designers (freelance and interns)
Recruit and direct student interns and student workers
Other job-related duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree required
2+ years of experience working in creative atmosphere with focus on graphic design, video production and/or motion graphics
Experience in high level sports design (Collegiate and/or Professional)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, or similar programs
Familiarity of NCAA rules, college athletics content trends, and current social and digital media trends and specifications preferred
Ability to interpret and utilize brand standards
Experience in graphic and motion design
Excellent communication and time management skills

Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work outside of typical business hours as needed, potentially including, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work home athletic events
