Overview
The Video Production Coordinator I supports the video team within the Creative Services group of the Marketing Department.
This role helps manage production schedules, track project progress, and coordinate resources across the team. Working closely with the Video Team, Digital Content Manager, Producers, and the broader Marketing Team, the Coordinator ensures clear communication and alignment among all team members and stakeholders.
By maintaining organization and adhering to timelines, the Coordinator contributes to high-quality video production outcomes. Success in this role is defined by strong coordination, effective task management, consistent follow-through on multiple projects, and the ability to ensure smooth communication and organization throughout the production process.

This is an in-office role in Franklin, TN
Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…
- Utilize K-LOVE-approved productivity and collaboration tools to update project tasks, track workload and assignments, and support daily coordination activities.
- Schedules video team assignments under the direction of the Manager of Video Production, taking into account team availability and project needs.
- Schedule and facilitates pre-production meetings, including preparing agendas, clarifying the meeting purpose and desired outcomes, and distributing materials.
- Take detailed notes during pre-production meetings and assists in drafting production timelines and task lists based on meeting outcomes.
- Assist in the coordination of media production events by arranging logistics such as location booking, equipment prep, and production materials.
- Provide on-site support for production shoots as assigned, helping to ensure seamless execution of logistics and timelines.
- Oversee project tracking systems for video progress, task distribution, and team utilization across multiple concurrent projects.
- Document workflows and processes created by the manager and supports team adherence to new and existing procedures.
- Facilitate team communications by scheduling calls, responding to emails as directed, and relaying information between team members, partners, and vendors.
- Drive execution meetings, daily stand-ups, refinement discussions, and project debriefs by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, and distributing action items.
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions with staff, partners, and vendors.
- Perform other team or project-related administrative tasks as assigned.

- AA Degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience. (Experience working for a church/Ministry, production house or student position at University, desired.)
- Basic understanding of video production (shooting, editing, lighting, and directing) required.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills and prior experience with Project Management tools with an ability to become familiar with Ministry-specific programs and software.
- Prior work experience in a Video production environment is preferred.
- Strong digital communications abilities
- Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties. Ability to hold all parties accountable to project deadlines.
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable ability to context shift quickly and is energized by working in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented and possess strong follow through.
- Possesses solid time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Be a “people person” interacting with internal clients.
- Highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel as needed and adhere to department budgets.
- Exhibits interest in video pre-production, eager to learn, and possess a desire to grow into a producer/editor role in the future.
