Job Summary/Description:
The WSMV4 Creative team is looking for a dynamic Creative Services Producer who excels in marketing. The ideal candidate should be a visual storyteller with strong skills in writing, cinematography, and Adobe CC.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- A passion for marketing and the creative process!
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. Equivalent work experience may suffice.
- Work well within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Compelling writer with great communication skills. Recognizes how to craft an engaging message focused on the viewer's/client's benefit.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines, able to adapt to changing deadlines while presenting a calming and confident presence.
- Write/produce/edit commercial production for clients.
- FAA Drone Certification is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for varying distances.
- Must have or be able to attain a valid driver's license. Driving record should not have any major convictions, no more than one minor conviction, or a fault accident in the last 3 years. Proof of insurance is required.
- Assist in station-sponsored events when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in commercial production.
- Advanced skills in Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
- Experience with DSLR cameras and lenses
- Experienced in lighting and directing talent on set and at outside shoots
- Ability to write, shoot, and edit engaging content
- Knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in broadcast production is preferred.
*The assigned schedule is subject to change. Evening, weekends, and holiday work may be required. Work performed on site and in the field. Must provide COMMERCIAL REEL demonstrating advanced production knowledge.*
