TEGNA National Sales is seeking a
TV Research Analyst to provide sales support for Tegna sales.
The position is responsible for estimating and maintaining programming for multiple stations, analyzing audience data, with a particular emphasis on sports programming. The overall objective for the position is to provide Tegna sales with all the tools necessary to sell the stations’ inventory.
Responsibilities
- Creation and maintenance of program estimates
- Management of research systems including Wide Orbit Media Sales
- Identifying audience trends
- Providing qualitative research support
- Maintaining sports calendars
Requirements
- Understanding of audience data (comScore and/or Nielsen)
- Working knowledge of research tools including Wide Orbit Media Sales, comScore TV or similar research software
- Well-organized, analytical, and have a working proficiency with Excel
- Able to analyze data gathered from a variety of sources and provide insights helpful to sellers
- A strong interest in the television industry as well as a positive, problem-solving attitude are highly desirable
