Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Label Coordinator to support the head of the label and manage day-to-day operations across release planning, artist relations, marketing coordination, and partner communications. This role demands someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a deep understanding of the music industry, and can confidently communicate with high-level executives, artists, and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of music releases, including timeline management, asset collection, metadata accuracy, and DSP submissions.
- Serve as a liaison between the label head, artists, managers, and joint venture partners.
- Manage the label calendar, scheduling meetings, tracking release timelines, and organizing label-related assets.
- Create professional one-sheets and pitch materials for internal and external use.
- Write compelling pitch letters for media, playlist, and brand outreach.
- Support marketing efforts by managing social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and ensuring cohesive online branding.
- Track performance and interpret data from Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, YouTube Analytics, and Google Analytics.
- Utilize tools like Chartmetric to generate insights and support strategy for releases and campaigns.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, suggesting optimizations based on analytics.
- Handle administrative tasks including file organization, contract tracking, invoice processing, and release documentation.
- Support simple graphic design needs (e.g., resizing cover art, creating promo images for social media).

Required Experience:
- 1-2 years of work experience in a promotions or marketing role, preferably within the music industry or entertainment sector.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Technical & Industry Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for tracking, scheduling, and reporting
- Understanding of the music business: royalties, distribution, marketing, publishing
- Familiar with DSP operations and submission protocols (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.)
- Competent in basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, or Photoshop)
- Skilled in using Chartmetric and similar music analytics platforms
- Experience writing effective pitch letters and promotional copy
Marketing & Communication
- Experience managing social media content and strategy across major platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with artists, executives, and external partners
- Ability to communicate technical or business information clearly and professionally
Organizational & Interpersonal Skills
- Meticulously organized and detail oriented
- Able to multitask and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Diplomatic and emotionally intelligent when dealing with artists and team members
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a problem-solving attitude
- Must be able to maintain high confidentiality
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events or promotional activities
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in music business or communication or a related field preferred.
